Uh ... hmm ... I'm sorry ... what?? ...
This question ["what??"] in reference to Edwards making this an awesome ticket. I'm still pulling for an Obama/Biden ticket ... or McCain/whoever if he doesn't pick Biden.
Addendum:
I am a Republican, I probably always will be. That being said, I will not be voting for McCain, becuase he supports too many of Bush's ideas, which have become incredibly not Republican. Our country is headed in the wrong direction and I think Obama can fix it. I think we as a country need something new, not the same old mumbo jumbo politics that we have been fed for too long. I agree with a lot of Democratic points and I am so glad that we are governed not just by one party, at the fedreal, state, or local levels. Checks and balances really do work, in more ways than the three branches of government...
My mom is a firm believer in voting for the party, not just the candidate, but if McCain (Bush jr.) is the best the Republican party can put up, they need to take a good hard look at what it is that the Republican party stands for!
Your addendum is worded far better than I could ever articulate as to why I'm not voting for McCain. I think Obama-Edwards would be an awesome ticket.
Sorry... I think Edwards is a nut-burger. I guess the only positive thing I can say about him is that he chose the right college.
Actually, he chose the wrong college ... but the right grad school.
