sparkely obama.jpgI thought this day would never come. I am sure that the candidates got little sleep.

If you read this blog and you haven't voted... GO VOTE!

I am a ball of nerves, scared, excited, hopeful, fearful... I love election day!

O-Bam-A.... O-Bam-A... O-Bam-A

We are hosting an election night dinner, where all the food is red, white, and blue. If you are in the area and free, come on over. Or if not and you have ideas about red food that would go with blue mashed potatoes, let me know. ha ha ha

I make a salad that is tomatoes, onions and cucumbers with a red wine vinagrette (I don't think I spelled that right). If you leave out the cucumbers it would be red and white and wouldn't taste bad with mashed potatoes.
