When I first saw this, I felt a very strong association with prehistoric cave art.
So how did you guys handle the wall art? Every household is different, but defacing the house was a huge no-no when I was growing up. We weren't even allowed to put posters on the wall. I always thought that was too strict until I had my own house and became fanatical about the walls and my paint.
It is a huge no-no here too, but we found it quite a bit later, and it was the first time, so we were more lenient than we will be in the future. Ptretty much we tried to make her feel bad about ruining the beautiful green walls that we worked so hard to paint for her, since that was the color that she desperately WANTED the walls to be, and so on.
Miles was pretty chill about it, and didn't think it was that big of a deal since it was washable marker... it may wash out of clothes, but as we found out, it doesn’t wash completely off walls!!!
We have had a few instances of wall art in the Guevara house as well. They're sooooo proud of it, too. He wrote his name on the outside of the house and blamed it on the neighbor kids.
