We have undertaken and succeeded in a major organize/ rearrange of our house. It doesn't really look a whole lot different, but it sure feels good.

One of the things that we did was rearrange and go through our books. Miles and I have a TON of books. We have three large book shelves in our room crammed full of books and 16 large boxes in the attic full of books.  It's getting out of hand.

Miles has lots of school books, as we were cleaning I was reading through some of his titles and following is a list of some of my favorite titles, currently on the shelves... (Let me preface this list by saying that I am not making fun of ANY of these books, they are all really interesting books, and Miles enjoyed reading all of them. I just think that they have funny titles)

Manliness and Civilization

Stylin' with CSS

Good Wives

Refusing the Favor

Satchmo Blows up the World

The Autobiography of an Ex-Colored Man

The Russians are Coming, the Russians are Coming

When Jesus came, the Corn Mothers went away

Hamlet on the Holodeck

and my personal favorite, Good Wives, Nasty Wenches and Anxious Patriarchs

I am still alive, but on top of being nauseous pretty much all the time still, I have had a yucky cold that has taken over my life.

Also, I have become addicted to the Twilight books. Something that my 13 year old sister would be horrified by... don't tell her. ha ha ha (She's one of my most regular readers)

I went with some girlfriends to see the movie on Sunday night not knowing anything about the books, and by the end I decided that I would read the first book... and that was it. I have read the first two books (It's Tuesday night), and I am trying as hard as I can not to go and buy the 3rd book tonight. My mom is sending it to me and it will be here soon... I just need to know how the story ends... I hopelessly hooked.

It is sad that I only read 19 books in 2007, this may be an all time low... but to my credit I did read A LOT of children's books and my child started walking! And if you know Halleigh, you know that once she started walking, she never has quit! ha ha ha

I want to keep track of books that I read, and needed a place to keep track, so here it is.  When I started my blog, I had a running list for 2007 in the right sidebar, and I have now updated it, so it is current. Hopefully I will do better keeping it updated this year. If you have any great books that you think that I would enjoy (Kelly, what is the name of the book you are reading now)... pass them along! Here's to happy reading in 2008! Cheers!
